John Kelley is passionate about global education and helping young people find meaning and purpose in our interconnected world. John is a veteran educator who has worked in both traditional, outdoor, and adventure education for the last 15+ years. He has gained a deep understanding of independent schools through his work as an administrator, teacher, coach, advisor, and dorm faculty. He’s also overseen built and overseen experiential, global, and outdoor education programs for schools both domestically and abroad.
In addition to his work in private schools, John has worked in therapeutic wilderness programs, taught in a number of college adventure education departments, led numerous international and outdoor trips, worked as a rock climbing guide, and run programs for a variety of global travel organizations. John has a Bachelors in Fine Art and a Masters Degree in Adventure Education and Program Administration.
