Luisa María is from Bogotá, Colombia. She studied Anthropology and has always tried to combine this academic passion with her love for Literature, people’s life stories, travel, and memory studies. She lived abroad in Thailand as a gap student an International School, since then, and after university, she’s always been linked to educational environments: being an English tutor and tutor coordinator in one of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia’s campus, and later part of the
National Solidarity Extension team of the same university. Now, at Envoys, she’s combining her academic and personal passions as part of the Partnerships team.
When not at Envoys you can find her working on her translation skills, reading a book or in a bookstore hunting her next read. In her time off the loves to travel, hike, write and enjoy time with her loved ones.
